1. These terms govern your use of this website and the Happn AI companion chat reached from it. By using either you accept them in full.
2. The service is offered to adults aged 18 and over. If you are younger than that you may not use it.
3. Every character presented on this site is invented. Names, biographies and portraits are creative works and do not describe real, identifiable individuals.
4. Conversations are generated. Replies may be inaccurate, inconsistent or fictional and must not be treated as statements of fact.
5. Nothing in a conversation is medical, legal, psychological or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for anything of consequence.
6. You are responsible for what you send. Do not submit unlawful material, threats, or the personal data of other people.
7. You may not use the service to impersonate a real person or to generate material about anyone who has not consented.
8. Sexually explicit requests, material involving minors, and anything promoting harm are prohibited and may end your access without notice.
9. You may not attempt to extract, copy or resell the underlying character writing, prompts or portraits.
10. Automated scraping, bulk access, load testing and reverse engineering of the service are not permitted.
11. Accounts are personal. Do not share credentials or allow another person to use your access.
12. You must give accurate information when signing up and keep it current.
13. We may change, suspend or withdraw features at any time in order to maintain or improve the service.
14. Where a paid option exists, prices, billing periods and renewal terms are shown before payment is taken.
15. Payments are processed by third-party providers. Their terms apply to the payment itself.
16. Refunds are handled case by case in line with the consumer law that applies where you live.
17. You may close your account at any time. Closure ends future billing but does not reverse charges already taken.
18. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms, for unlawful use, or where continued access creates risk.
19. All site content, including text, layout, portraits and the brand name, remains the property of its owner and may not be reused without permission.
20. Limited personal use of the site is permitted. Republishing substantial parts of it is not.
21. The service is provided as is, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error free or fit for a particular purpose.
22. To the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
23. Where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
24. You agree to cover losses caused by your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.
25. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
26. Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy published on this site.
27. These terms may be updated. Material changes are announced on this page with a revised date.
28. If a clause is found unenforceable the remaining clauses continue to apply.
29. Questions, complaints and notices should be sent to hello@happn-meet.com and will be answered in writing.
30. These terms are governed by the law of the operator of happn-meet.com, and disputes are heard by the courts of that jurisdiction.
